Lower your bill · Savings Finder
Six questions, about a minute. You get a prioritized report of the Maryland programs that can lower or help pay your bill, with an estimated savings for each, emailed to you so you can work through it.
Why it's free. Helping Maryland households keep the power on is our mission, so this report costs you nothing. If it saves you money, a donation funds our Critical Medical Needs Program, which keeps the power on for Marylanders whose oxygen, dialysis or insulin depends on it.

Why this report is free
Helping Maryland households keep the power on is our mission, so we give this away. We also run the Critical Medical Needs Program: when a shut-off notice reaches a home with an oxygen concentrator or a dialysis machine, we step in so the power stays on. More than 1,000 households have come through it. If this report saves you money, a gift of any size helps us reach the next family in time.
DonateThe fine print
Savings percentages are estimates for prioritizing, not guarantees: community solar depends on your discount and usage, a tune-up on the state of your system, a check-up on what gets installed. Grant figures are Maryland OHEP's published average benefits (MEAP about $460 and EUSP about $546 a year in FY2025; Arrearage Retirement about $987 once); hardship-fund grants typically run up to about $500. Your amount depends on the agency. Utility Advisor receives no compensation for any referral in this report; where a program is offered by more than one company we show the direct route too.
Many households qualify for more than one of these and have never been told. The finder ranks them by how much they're likely to save you, puts a dollar estimate on each from your bill, and shows the direct route to every one.
